Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly Receives National Recognition

Shillman House Earns National Community of Quality® Certification from NAHMA

The National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) announced that Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly (JCHE) recently received National Recognition as a Community of Quality® for outstanding management of the Morton and Etta Shillman House on the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation in Framingham MA.

To be recognized as a National Community of Quality® (COQ), affordable multifamily rental properties are certified as having achieved a high standard of excellence in the way they are maintained and managed, the services they provide residents, the experience and training of personnel, and other criteria. As part of the application process, JCHE received endorsements for its management of Shillman House from Senator Karen E. Spilka, Jewish Family Service of Metrowest, Citizens’ Housing and Planning Association and Enterprise Community Partners, Inc.
