Quick Facts About JCHE

Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization that provides exceptional, affordable and supportive independent housing to over 1,300 seniors of all backgrounds.

Nationally recognized for quality programs and services that enable our residents to live out their lives in their own JCHE homes even as they face the challenges of aging.

Has five buildings located at three sites: Ulin House, Leventhal House and Genesis House in Brighton, MA (a neighborhood in Boston); Golda Meir House in Newton; Coleman House in Newton.

Developing new housing in MetroWest: Morton and Etta Shillman House on the Weinberg Campus in Framingham.

Established in 1965 as the Jewish community's response to an affordable housing crisis for seniors

Utilizes rents and public rent subsidies to cover the cost of operations and upkeep of the beautifully maintained buildings. Raises private resources through individuals, corporations and foundations to fund supportive services and life-enhancing services.
