Thanks to Brookline Bank for spearheading JCHE's 50th anniversary celebration

Posted: February 13, 2014

We are excited to report that Brookline Bank, JCHE's longstanding partner, is kicking off the celebration of our 50th anniversary!

With their exceptional gift of $50,000, Brookline Bank is the first contributor to the "50 x 50" campaign to secure 50 gifts for our 50th anniversary year in 2015. Over the next 18 months, we will engage our supporters and community as we honor the past and look forward to the future. The Bank's generosity helps us raise funds for the vital programs and services that enable residents to age in community rather than in isolation.

Paul Perrault, President and CEO of Brookline Bank, said, "We have tremendous respect for JCHE's mission and their staff. JCHE continuously strives to provide the high quality low cost housing so badly needed by our senior citizens. We consider it a privilege to help this fine organization celebrate 50 years of outstanding service to the community."

JCHE's President and CEO Amy Schectman said, "We are so grateful to Brookline Bank. We are proud of our longstanding partnership. The Bank is our bank, investor and donor. As the first donor in our 50th anniversary campaign, Brookline Bank is once again demonstrating its leadership and paving the way for others to invest in the future of our community's treasured seniors. Brookline Bank continues to make it possible for us to do what we do best: enable seniors to age well in community with opportunities for connection, growth and purpose."
