Cooking class explores salads for summers
JCHE's Director of Food Services, David Seltzer, focused his monthly cooking class on ideas for summer. The Brighton residents who attended the class were mesmerized by David's ability to transform vegetables into beautiful salads that are perfect for Boston's summer weather. David's goal was to feature interesting and nutritious meal ideas that do not require an oven on a hot day.
The salad array was as tasty as it was pretty to look at. Recipes were handed out so that attendees could try these in their own kitchens.
