English as a Second Language Instructor – Teacher needed for beginning and intermediate classes for Russian-speaking tenants. Ability to speak Russian preferred but not essential. Classes are held Monday – Friday. Specific days and time can be set at the volunteer’s convenience.

Front Desk Volunteer – Staff the desk at the main entrance of Ulin House. Tasks include answering phones, opening the door for visitors, accepting packages for tenants, and collecting tenants’ money for van trips. Desk is staffed from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. Shifts can be scheduled at the volunteer’s convenience.

Share your pet -- Bring your people-friendly dog to JCHE and visit with residents.

Special Interests Instructor -- Share your hobbies and interests with JCHE residents. Classes are held Monday – Friday. Specific days and time can be set at the volunteer’s convenience.

Holiday Meal Server -- Help serve meals at large holiday celebrations.
