Teaching Instructors - Instructors needed for a variety of tenant classes, including arts and crafts, book discussion groups, foreign languages, literary discussion groups, creative writing, knitting, canasta and Mah Jongg. We welcome your suggestions for other classes you'd like to teach. Classes can be held weekly or monthly on a day and time that is convenient for the instructor.
Gardening Assistant - Assist with general gardening upkeep of small garden beds surrounding Golda Meir House. Days and hours can be set at the volunteer's convenience. Two-hour slots preferred.
Dining Room Assistant - Assist with tenant dining program including packing and delivering lunches for homebound tenants; doing general kitchen work; carrying trays for frail tenants; providing help with clean-up. Dining program is open at lunchtime each Monday - Friday. Two-hour slots during the week.
