Holiday Meal Assistant – Provide assistant at special holiday lunches for tenants. Events held approximately 4 times per year for Rosh Hashanah, Chanukah, Passover, and a summer Barbeque.

Teaching Instructors – Instructors needed for a variety of tenant classes, including arts and crafts, book discussion groups, foreign languages, creative writing, line dancing, Tai Chi, Yoga. We welcome your suggestions for other classes you’d like to teach.

Computer Center Aide – Provide coverage during open access hours in on-site Computer Center. Assist tenants with the Internet, e-mail, printing, opening attachments, and scanning. Requires basic knowledge of Mac computers, printers and scanners; Microsoft Word, Internet and e-mail.

Fitness Trail Designer – Work with Wellness Director and Director of Intergenerational Programs to create a plan for an intergenerational fitness trail to be located onsite at JCHE. Tasks include developing a design and constructing a plan, with input from tenants of JCHE and students; consulting with JCHE building managers; and presenting the plan to JCHE staff.

Intergenerational Program Manager or Assistant – Develop and manage an intergenerational program involving JCHE tenants and young people from various schools, agencies and organizations. Staff support provided to plan, coordinator, monitor and evaluate the program. Requires a September – June commitment. Most programs meet for 1 hour each month. Scheduling is flexible but is dependent on the availability of the participating young people.

Wellness Workshop Assistant – Assist JCHE Wellness Director with the set up and implementation of tenant wellness workshops, held twice a year for 6- 8 weeks. Tasks include publicizing the workshops to tenants; photocopying materials; setting up the room; and assisting Wellness Director during workshops.

Database Analyst – Analyze data from the Tenant Asset Surveys that has been entered into the JCHE Resident Database. Information about tenants’ skills, talents and interests is used to develop programs that utilize the best assets of JCHE tenants. Computer and analysis skills required.
